Is financial assistance available?
Yes, CDIA is committed to helping our students take advantage of the many resources available to finance their education. Whether it is a student loan - including SLM (Sallie Mae), TERI Alternative Loan Program, P.L.A.T.O. Loan Programs, our deferred tuition payment plan, government sponsorship, or corporate reimbursement, our Financial Assistance Staff will assist you through each step of the process.
Does CDIA offer job placement assistance?
CDIA has an extremely active career service department ready to assist you in pursuit of your dreams. The Career Services department is here to contribute to your efforts and aggressively pursues internships and job possibilities for our students while continually developing relationships with new employers.
Does CDIA offer on-campus housing?
CDIA does not have on campus facilities, but we offer housing assistance and are dedicated to providing information about affordable accommodations in one of the many apartment complexes near and around the center as well as assist you in handling the arrangements.
Can I go to school at night or part time?
We offer certificate programs both on a full time basis during the day as well as part-time evening hours.
What is the background of a typical CDIA instructor?
All of CDIA's instructors have spent years working in their particular field and are passionate about teaching others what they know. The majority of our instructors continue to be professionally active providing valuable real life feedback as well as contacts and insights to their particular industry.
Do I need a background in film or photography to attend your school?
Although some background is always helpful, our certificate programs are designed to teach you from the ground up and are geared for the novice. All we require is your dedication and passion.
When do the certificate programs start?
All of our certificate programs follow a typical academic calendar. Please check with an admissions counselor for start dates.
What is the student-to-instructor ratio?
Our academic model and the hands-on instruction our students receive require our student-to-instructor ratio never be more that 12 students to 1 instructor.
What equipment do I need to purchase?
The Film, Photography, and Graphic & Web Design programs do require you to have specific equipment. Please check with your Admissions Counselor for a list of requirements.
