James Lawson recently completed the Digital Filmmaking High School Summer Program at CDIA. He writes: CDIA alum Fletcher Burns and Sarah Frazier lead the class. Together they taught the class how to use CDIA’s professional camera equipment and how to use the editing software. They used teaching styles that made it fun and easy to learn. One point that really stood out about the class was the hands-on factor. After the students learned a new skill, they would apply it in real scenarios by allowing the students to use the equipment outside in the areas around CDIA. By taking this class, I have learned something about myself. It has showed me something I love to do and has opened a new path of opportunities in my life.
