PRC Student Exhibition Selectees Announced
This annual competition is the preeminent showcase for university-level photography programs throughout New England. The show receives significant direct exposure locally, while the PRC’s national and international reputation guarantees an even wider audience through its online and print publications.
This year’s selectees represent a cross-section of the current full-time and part-time student body and recent graduates at the Waltham campus. Faculty jurors Rob Van Petten and Kevin Goggin chose images from 8 students out of nearly 250 excellent submissions. The process was, according to Rob and Kevin, “extremely difficult- a hard selection, but a good problem and a strong showing. The quality of the submissions overall was first rate. It’s wonderful to see this level of work from our students and alumni”.
Please be sure to check out the show at the PRC’s gallery on the downtown Boston University campus, which runs from April 14 through May 8, 2011, with an opening reception on Thursday evening, April 14 from 5:30 to 7:30.
