CDIA Photography Alum Katherine Taylor’s image has been selected for use in an article in NY Times, along with the Huffington Post about the rising number of families in shelters.

When asked about the images Katherine writes: “I spoke with the writer of this story yesterday after it was published.  He told me that a reader had offered the family a car and car insurance to help with transportation to and from work and with the children.  After hearing this I was so touched by the humanity of this gesture and the idea that the actions we take can makes a difference”.
