PAX East 2010

March 29, 2010 This years PAX East was a huge event for Bostons Game Developers, 3D Artist, Digital Media Artist and Gaming enthusiasts. The massive event took place at the Hynes Convention Center and featured local, indie and large exhibitors. The entire 3 day event was sold out. Boston University Center for Digital Imagaing Arts had a booth in the exhibitors room, that was setup by Chris Kapp and Casey Cutchins and manned by both Alumni and Instructors. The booth grabbed a lot of attention. Great Job everyone! Many CDIA students attended the event. Alienware computers and Rockstar and Blizzard games had very impressive setups that featured new products and amazing games. Wil Wheaton kicked off the expo as the keynote speaker - he's the sissy kid in the movie Stand By Me. Panels and events included, "The Future of PC Gaming", "Design an RPG in an Hour", "MMO gamer behavior 101" and musical guests the Video Game Orchestra and of course a lot of free gameplay.  We will see you all there for PAX East 2011.
