Oct 27 – Yari Wolinsky’s Moving Screening with Coffee and Q&A
Check out graduate, Yari Wolinksy’s, documentary screening, October 27!
EDEN, Yari Wolinsky’s documentary, is about the fine art photography of TRIIIBE and Cary Wolinsky. At the time of their exhibition at Dodge Gallery in New York, Kristen Dodge wrote about the artists, “TRIIIBE is a collaborative that obscures the seams of authorship, fusing the input of several parties, most prominently that of photographer, Cary Wolinsky, and triplets Alicia, Kelly and Sara Casilio. In the way one can imagine the social futility of distinguishing identical sisters growing up, the collaboration required by a multi-media production (including performance, photography, and installation) evades singularity. In fact, TRIIIBE’s intent is to shake-up and shift familiar modes of behavior by confusing boundaries and challenging definitions of self.”
Yari Wolinsky’s film is a dramatic behind-the-scenes look at TRIIIBE’s creative process. The 52-minute screening will be followed by Q&A with Yari Wolinsky and members of TRIIIBE.
