CDIA Alum Become Certified Photographers for Bella Pictures

August 18, 2010 CDIA alumni Janelle DePiano, Chelle Amaral, and Marie Pasquel just became certified photographers for Bella Pictures after completing Bella Pictures’ Professional Development Program, under the direction of Rob Paine. These photographers shot six weddings in seven weeks under an experienced lead photographer, after which their work was critiqued, frame by frame.

“CDIA is an ideal place to recruit from,” Paine said. “Its program has a perfect balance, stressing the creative and technical basics, while also emphasizing the importance of being professional.” He added, “The school also has one of the hardest working and talented Career Services staff around. They do their homework, and they know what Bella is all about, both in Boston and in DC.”

This is the second year that Bella has recruited CDIA graduates, and three more students are on track to enter the development program later this Summer. Paine is scheduled to be in Waltham on September 16th for the CDIA Career Fair and will also be holding a portfolio review for next Summer’s Internship Program.
