Our Staff
Bruce Jaranian
Co-Director, Career Services – Waltham Campus
Bruce has been in the counseling/coaching industry for over seventeen years having spent five of those years in the Education field. Bruce attributes much of his success to his ability to network with people and companies which is a strong need in the success of procuring job openings for the programs offered at CDIA.
Maureen Lawson
Co-Director, Career Services – Waltham Campus
Maureen has found recruiting and coaching people in their job search skills extremely rewarding. She began her recruiting career with Advance Personnel, and in 1997, she and two business partners formed DesignWrite Partners, Inc., an agency specializing in the placement of creative professionals – they placed thousands of people with top ad agencies, marketing departments, and publishing companies in the Boston area. Maureen enjoys coaching all levels of individuals in resume preparation, job search and networking methods, and interviewing skills — and as a hobby photographer and someone who appreciates the arts, music, and cooking, Maureen really connects with the “creatives” at CDIA!
Seth Novick
Director, Career Services – Washington Campus
Seth has been working in creative staffing and employment since 1998, when he joined Randstad, an international staffing and employment solutions provider. He began as a recruiter, eventually becoming the Practice Manager and Subject Matter Expert for the Creative Division, and has worked with some of the most well respected companies locally and nationally to place individuals in various digital arts industries. As a former freelancer and recruiter, he has first hand knowledge of what it takes to be successful in graphic design, interactive design, multimedia and animation, TV/video production, photography and illustration.
Seth has also been an adjunct instructor, is actively involved in the creative community as a speaker and is a member of the Art Director’s Club of Metropolitan Washington (ADCMW) and AIGA. He holds a BFA in Medical Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
