Audio Production
Stumbling into Every Opportunity
October 29, 2008 These last two weeks have seriously been crazy.
I ended up getting an internship for J Franze, the producer/engineer I wrote about in my previous entry. I approached him after his lecture at B.A.D.A.S.S. just to introduce myself and ended up having lunch with him. After talking for a while he told me he was actually looking for an intern and offered to have me come up to see his mix room and do an interview. I started work the next day and have been there four nights or so a week since. We’ve mostly been working on his tape digitization project. I’ve been assisting on editing, song quality checks and researching songs and musicians. It’s been really amazing just getting to hear all of those performances.
I’ve also been working on my AP206 class project for the last couple weeks. The 206 project is a three-song demo of a band of your choosing. Besides working with my own artist, I’m also recording songs for one of my classmates. Both of these projects have been going well, even though my original artist ended up ditching me before our first session, which greatly set me back. I ended up recording one of my friends, a local noise artist. We decided ahead of time to try to do actual songs, all written and arranged on the spot. It’s been a really interesting project. We’ve mostly been using an old UniVox drum machine with some keyboards, guitars and the piano in Studio D at CDIA. Hopefully I’ll be able to post some of the songs here next week when they’re done - stay tuned!

It's Good! Absolutely Perfect! The above given article is true and i am totally agreed with this because as we know the importance of money in today’s world so everybody want to grow in life as well as earn more and more money. I love seeing success stories of people connecting on the digital frontier! But we should not forget that there is a big recession period is going on and definitely it was a very hard truth for us but we shouldn't disappoint with it. We should face the problem as we all know that life is not a bed of roses so we should have patience and i hope the recession period will be end as soon as possible. Great post and I look forward to reading more! :) . Sydney career hunting uk
