The CDIA Practicum gives our students access to a hands-on experience with a non-profit organization. Based on the premise that media matters, the Practicum is designed to empower students to see a project through, while developing a network and a portfolio that will serve them professionally. Under the guidance of seasoned advisors, CDIA students provide their partner organizations with quality digital media in the space of one month. CDIA students have partnered with organizations around the world to provide documentary and promotional videos, digital photography, web and print design and 3D animation.

The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University is committed to creating a real-world work environment where students provide service as creative professionals and use digital media to enrich the community. We’re using digital media to tell stories that matter.
